Over the next few months they will be working with architects to develop options on how the communal areas can be remodelled at the services to provide more attractive and useful space. They will be looking at all the communal spaces, not only the sitting and dining areas but also the kitchens, laundry rooms and garden space.

New Outlook are also reviewing the services that are offered at each scheme, including replacing the current care call system, to ensure that they are meeting the needs of current tenants as well as those of the future.

Work will begin at the Albert Weedall Centre in the Spring of 2020 and will also incorporate New Outlook’s Beech House Care Home which is attached to this service.

All New Outlook sheltered housing accommodation is for people who are 55+ with sight loss. It is self contained, safe accommodation with on-site support available. Newly refurbished apartments are currently available to rent.
