Earlier in the year Brib received a donation from North Birmingham Photographic Society which they wanted to be used for talking books. These books are particularly beneficial for those with visual impairment and there is a huge variety available. Once a specialist item, audio books are now available from many sources although they can be expensive.
Following discussion the money was split between Focus Birmingham and Queen Alexandra College which allowed it benefit visually impaired people across a full range of ages.
The photograph shows some of the 58 titles that QAC obtained, having selected a wide range of titles, both fiction and non-fiction. The value of spend meant that discounts were available helping the money go further.
Our thanks to the members of North Birmingham Photographic Society.
